As of March 2024, for users who have tried the enhanced live VTO tool.
Background
Specsavers approached Arwec to create a suite of assets for their new virtual try-on tool, an AR feature allowing customers to virtually try on glasses.
The content needed to demonstrate the tool's ease of use while aligning with the Specsavers brand across social and e-commerce platforms.
Challenge
The video needed to clearly convey the tool's benefits, including its
ability to be used while wearing high prescription glasses and the option to share personalised looks
The integration of animation, motion graphics, CGI and AR needed to be seamless, with the added complexity of ensuring easy adaptation and translations for different markets.
Solution
We collaborated closely with Specsavers to refine the messaging and accurately showcase the AR functionality of the tool.
Advanced CGI production was used to integrate live-action footage with animations, showcasing the ability for
consumers to remove existing glasses and try on new ones from the comfort of their home
Emphasising art direction, set building, styling, and diverse casting, we ensured every piece of content aligned with Specsaver’s brand identity.
The graphics were designed for easy localisation, while ensuring the final assets were appropriate for paid social and e-commerce usage.
